Bridge of Orchy Station
Station on the West Highland Line and waypoint on the West Highland Way
In October 1996 I had walked the West Highland Way and camped one night down by the river at Bridge of Orchy. In October 2010 I passed through Bridge of Orchy on my way to Fort William, on the Caledonian Sleeper. The communal breakfast looked good through the station house windows, and I thought this would make an unusual and interesting stopover on the way home. Here then is the record of that stay in the Bridge of Orchy station bunkhouse. Music by Matt Bauer.
