| Lima Ed planned this trip without having understood that Ponferrada to Santiago was not sufficient a pilgrimage for him to fully appreciate the Camino. It was an eminently practical starting point given the time & resources available, and it's twice the distance required to be awarded the Compostela. However, Lima Ed acknowedges the effort and sacrifice of all those who dedicate so much more than practicalities to their own Camino. Lima Ed's Camino days were very demanding - also he can probably legitimately claim some "credit transfer" from caminos past - but it's not the same. He wishes every Peregrino, Buen Camino. |
